Refund Policy
We offer a 14-day return policy starting from the delivery date. This means you must both request the return AND ship the item back within 14 calendar days of receiving your order. Returns requested or received after the 14-day period will not be accepted under any circumstances, with no exceptions.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it - unworn or unused, with tags, screen protective sheet, envelope, and in its original packaging. All original contents must be included, including but not limited to: the planner, inserts, dividers, sticker sets, dust bag, envelope, or any bundled accessories included with your order. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you must contact us first at contact@thedreamacademie.com. Returns will need to be sent to: 21062 Brookhurst St, Suite 101, Huntington Beach, CA 92646.
If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting and receiving return authorization will not be accepted and are not eligible for a refund or store credit. Unauthorized packages received at our facility will be held for a maximum of 5 business days pending customer response. After that period, the package may be discarded and no refund or credit will be issued.
Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to arrange and cover the shipping costs for returning their item. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Restocking Fee
Returns that are missing original accessories, stickers, inserts, dividers, dust bags, envelopes, or any bundled items included with your order are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the item price. This fee will be deducted from any approved refund or store credit. Returns missing a significant portion of original contents may be denied entirely at our discretion.
Damages and Issues
All orders must be inspected within 5 business days of delivery. In the event your order arrives defective, damaged, incorrect, or is reported as missing, you must notify us within 5 business days of your delivery date. Claims reported outside of this window will not be eligible for a replacement, store credit, or refund, with no exceptions.
*All packages are insured. In the event your order arrives damaged in transit, the customer is responsible for filing a claim directly with USPS. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or packages showing as delivered but not received.*
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including final sale items and gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method (excluding any shipping fees) within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
In cases where a return is accepted outside of our standard policy as a goodwill courtesy, store credit may be issued in lieu of a monetary refund.

Cancellations
After Shipping: If you cancel your order after it has been shipped and it is returned to our facility due to an incorrect address or if the package is refused, we will process your refund. However, shipping fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from your total refund amount.
Before Shipping: If you cancel your order before it has been shipped, you will receive a full refund, including any shipping fees charged at the time of purchase.
